What you'll learn
- Solve a percent problem by identifying the part, the whole and the percent, and finding the missing one from part = percent × whole
- Use a percent as a multiplier, including percents greater than 100% and less than 1%
- Identify the whole from the wording of a problem
- Find a tax, tip, discount or simple-interest amount as a percent of a base, and the total that results
