- Lesson Plan →Objectives, pacing and practice, built from this lesson's brief.
- Guided Notes →One page your students fill in and keep.
- Exit Ticket →Three items at the end of class. No student accounts.
- Re-teach →After an exit ticket: who missed what, and what to do tomorrow.
- Homework →Assign practice; it grades itself.
"Use concepts and theorems relating to congruence and similarity of triangles to solve problems."
"Determine which statements may be required to prove certain relationships or to satisfy a given theorem."
"Apply knowledge that changing by a scale factor of k changes all lengths by a factor of k, but angle measures remain unchanged."

"Apply knowledge that changing by a scale factor of k changes all lengths by a factor of k, but angle measures remain unchanged."
What you'll learn
- Determine whether two triangles are similar using Angle-Angle (AA) similarity
- Find unknown side lengths of similar triangles from the correspondence, setting up the proportion that the similarity statement dictates
- Apply the fact that a scale factor k multiplies every length by k and leaves every angle measure unchanged
- Recognize and apply similarity in overlapping, nested, and parallel-line configurations
